The Attitude Advantage
Pep Talk!

The cornerstone of the entire course

This 36 minute video is the basis of the entire program and is the speech Jesse gives live time and time, again all across the world.

We don't include this video here because we encourage you to watch this with your teen if possible. This speech will get your teen in the right mood for embracing all of the life lessons this program has to offer.

Review

After watching The Attitude Advantage Pep Talk you get to do this lesson with your group or solo.  If you are doing this as a group I recommend your Attitude Ambassador leads the charge by reading out loud or selecting different people to read different parts. It’s your call and what works best for you.

I’d recommend having a different Attitude Ambassador each week to keep it spicy but that’s just me.

Okay, enough talk, time to get to the lesson!

The Attitude Advantage program isn’t about carrying on a family legacy, fulfilling your parent’s ambitions, or pursuing a goal just because it’s always been expected of you. Instead, I have intended to create life lesson tools for you.... tools that will help you become the type of person who can determine and develop a plan of attack in pursuit of their own dreams & passions.

However, before you can even begin to use these materials effectively, you need to determine what your passion is in life.

What “lights up your eyes” when you talk to others?

Dreams & passions may change or take another direction in the future, but it is important to have a special goal to shoot for right now!

If you are a young person, this can be an overwhelming concept (What you’re having for lunch may be your biggest focus and/or decision of the day!).  But I also get that it is important to make decisions and have goals that are in the near future, instead of a million years away on some “adult” timeline in the back of your head.

An important part of the learning curve for you, is figuring out how to “purpose” yourself towards something exciting and great! Only then can you begin to learn how to adapt, modify, and tweak what you’ve been working hard towards, as life’s changes happen. I will show you how I’ve done that in my life, and I will give you examples on how to do that in your own.

As you apply the life principals and strategies in this program to your own pursuits, you also learn how to critically evaluate what you’re doing and determine whether it is working for you or wasting your time!

Slowly, the life strategies you are practicing and adopting, become a part of who you are, and they impact how you approach your own life as well as how you see the world. See if this isn’t true.

Way To Go!

These are just some of the questions you will be asked to reflect on as you take a hard look at yourself, and evaluate what you need to be doing in order to have the most exciting life possible!

Great work on Week 1 of The Attitude Advantage and I want to give you a little bonus video for you over achievers!

What Is Driving YOU?

Since we are talking about being 'your own driving force' I wanted to share something I've been working on.  I've had a dream to have my very own TV show that would allow me to platform to positively change the lives of people who need it the most!

I have been told I'm crazy.  I'm not famous enough like Kim Kardashian.  I don't have a big enough following like LeBron James.  Nobody wants to watch a TV show about helping people.  I can't tell you how many time I've been rejected and the hundreds of "No's" I've gotten but like Babe Ruth once said, 'It's hard to beat somebody who never gives up'.

I hope you like the trailer for my new show.  If you start deciding today I know you will accomplish much bigger and better things than this!

Remember, it all starts with your

Challenge Time!

This is where we challenge your Teen to take action!

Feeling disorganized?

Begin a transformation of yourself, by cleaning and organizing your bedroom, bathroom, or closet....build on that to the next thing.

Tired of being a couch potato?

  • Grab a friend and do a 30 min walk after dinner for a week.
  • Play some pick up basketball or a game of catch before tucking in for the evening.
  • Set your alarm for 1 hour earlier in the morning and walk/jog 45 mins. to start the day.
(listen to music, take the family dog, enlist another family member, etc.)

Once you have figured out what your action item is going to be, go out to the community and drop that action item in the chat! This makes it real and you have to follow through with it!
